The Edinburgh Shyness & Social Anxiety Meetup

Meet with other local people who suffer from extreme Shyness or social phobia. Also for people who have lost confidence and self esteem due to life events. Bereaved partners are also very welcome. Offer support and understanding and share your story with others! To engage in things that other groups do like walking and movies, without worrying what other members will think of you. A place to meet others who will not judge you and accept you as you are. You can be as quiet as you like and you will not be judged. This group is also open to physically disabled who may also be isolated and have low self esteem too. Wherever possible we will make efforts to ensure access, and able bodies group members could possibly help with pushing wheelchairs etc. I would be happy to accompany anyone who requires it, or if you need a driver as well. Disclosure Scotland Certified. Groups could be organised into smaller meetings so that not too many people are there at each meeting.

Profuse apologies for the change in date-something personal came up can't get out of. The first meeting will be at the Royal Botanic Gardens. There is no itinerary, we can decide where to go in the gardens when we walk round. Please bring waterproof and warm clothing in case of inclement weather. Read more
