|
People with social anxiety are usually very intelligent, sensitive and insightful. They often have deep and interesting personalities. And, yes, they actually desire social interaction despite the irrational anxiety. In this group we plan to have a good time AND work on building confidence. Please consider this group if you have had difficulties with any of the following: Shyness The good news is that social anxiety and these related issues can all be improved considerably with a little effort and persistence. The meetup will strive to produce the following benefits for members: We will have a 'workgroup' meeting at least once per month and a fun social gathering or outing once per month.

Our next meeting:
Confidence Building Workshop/Support Group
The meeting room is really very nice. It is a seperate and private room at a very large and new firestation. The meeting room is setup like a classroom with desks and a marker board. There is plenty of room, so we will probably sit in a circle of chairs for part of the meeting. And perhaps sit at desks facing forward for other portions.
The flow is VERY informal at this first meeting. Read more
