We try to meet a couple times a month. We share our experiences with shyness and social anxiety, and enjoy general conversation as well, in a nice, supportive environment.
A support group to help others that suffer from anxiety and depression. Hosted by Mother and Son that both suffered from anxiety, looking to give back to the community. Just a simple round-table discussion, no pressure to talk, just come and listen if you like or tell your story to others who understand. Will have printouts on topics also.

The facilitator will introduce members to one another and encourage conversation with questions and comments. No pressure will be exerted, but rather periodic invitations to participate. We don't mind awkward silences and tend to "observe" others for awhile first before joining in. Or, we don't fit into the typical "extrovert" social cliques because the idea of meeting others at ba …

I chose to start this group to put into practice the exercises outlined in the book "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Robert A. Glover. The purpose of this meet up is to connect with the male energy and support and encourage you to be an integrated man, as defined by Dr. Glover. An integrated man has distinctive qualities: a strong sense of self, he takes responsability for getting his own needs met, he is comfortable with his masculinity and his sexuality, he has integrity, he is a leader, he is …

Why aren't you dancing your butt off at a club tonight? Is it your two left feet? Did your friends make fun of your bad moves until you just gave up and stopped going? Are you self-conscious about what to do about your arms... or your legs... or your whole body? Maybe you're curious but too nervous to actually step onto the floor and let loose. Do you have trouble finding the rhythm when you hear a song? Are you addicted to the salt shakers or the lawnmower? Do memories of homecoming or prom (or …
